On y moud alors de la farine. En 1841, on y ajoute un moulin \u00e0 scie et en 1874, on y carde de la laine. Cette m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, un groupe acqui\u00e8re le moulin, soit M\u00e9dard Derome (p\u00e8re de Wilfrid), Antoine M\u00e9rizzi fils (notaire), Ephrem Bouchard (notaire)et David Guay (h\u00f4telier). Le moulin a br\u00fbl\u00e9 en janvier 1898.
